Mit sycrone konnte Sprout zuletzt den Sieg auf der ESL Sommermeisterschaft 2018 feiern und 12.000 Euro Preisgeld gewinnen. Kurz zuvor qualifizierte sich das deutsch-dänische Team für das europäischen Minor für das FACEIT Major. Dort scheiterten Denis 'denis' Howell und Co. knapp in den Playoffs.
Wer den Platz von sycrone einnehmen wird, ist bisher nicht bekannt. David 'syncD' Slovacek, der lediglich die Matches in der ESL Meisterschaft spielte, wurde bereits verabschiedet. Zuletzt half Josef 'faveN' Baumann, der nicht mehr für EURONICS Gaming spielt, der Organisation beim EPICENTER Qualifier aus. Das Team könnte jedoch auch auf einen neuen gänzlich anderen Namen setzen.
Ende September steht für Sprout wohl die nächste LAN an. Auf den Games Clash Masters 2018 wird das neue Lineup wahrscheinlich erstmals offline zu sehen sein.

Thank you for your time and amazing effort as an IGL, with your endurance and drive we were able to keep pushing ourselves and our strategies and we are very grateful. We shared good times together and were able to almost reach the FACEIT Major in London - and even though we fell short, it is a huge achievement in itself.
Sprout is going to keep growing. We want to transform and reach the next stage of our evolution. Even though we are going different paths from now on, we wish you all the best and are looking forward to your future in CS:GO, all the best mate!
