Ersetzt wird er vorübergehend von Asger 'AcilioN' Larsen, der zuletzt für The Imperial spielte. Mit diesem Team schlug der Däne unter anderem seinen neuen Arbeitgeber Heroic im Finale der Copenhagen Games 2018.
Er sei ein guter Kandidat, da er in der Vergangenheit bereits mit und gegen einige der Heroic-Spieler gespielt hat, heißt es im Statement. Neben seiner Rolle als Stand-in wird er auch als Ansager fungieren.
AcilioN wird sich schnellstmöglich ins Team einfinden müssen, da Heroic wichtige Matches im Qualifier für die CORSAIR DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 und das EU Minor des FACEIT Major London 2018 bevorstehen.

We’re saddened to learn that Ruben is dealing with a relapse. He has to undergo further examination and until he is ready to play again, we will have to call up a stand-in. Meanwhile, AcilioN is a very interesting player. He's an experienced In-Game Leader which really is what we needed in a situation like this. He already knows some of the players from previously, both as team mates, but also as a tough opponent which Heroic got a taste of in the Copenhagen Games Grand Final where AcilioN won with The Imperial
