Area51 wechselt erneut einen Spieler aus

Es hat alles angefangen mit dem Wechsel von Derek 'desi' B. zu dem Team von eLevate. Die amerikanische Organisation verpflichtete anschließend Andrew 'darky' Mackert, was jedoch zu viel Kritik geführt hat, da er keinerlei Erfahrung in der kompetitiven CS:GO Szene hatte. Trotz guter Leistungen in den letzten Wochen, hat sich das Team rund um Jonathan 'n0swal' Lawson entschieden, darky auf die Ersatzbank zu setzen und einen neuen Spieler zu verpflichten. Die Entscheidung wurde getroffen, weil seine individuellen Leistungen in der ESEA und der CEVO nicht den Vorstellungen des Teams entsprachen. So holt man sich ab sofort Andrew 'kthx' Pak ins Team und riskiert damit die nächste Kritik, denn auch er ist relativ neu in der professionellen CS:GO Szene. Ob er Stabilität in das Team hineinbringen kann, wird sich in den nächsten Wochen herausstellen. Die ESEA hat diesbezüglich ein Interview mit dem neuen Spieler von Area51 geführt, in dem er seine noch junge Karriere beschreibt und vermitteln möchte, dass das Spiel für ihn gar nicht so unbekannt ist, wie man es meinen könnte.

Statement Andrew 'kthx' Pak:

Hello, my name is Andrew Pak and I am 22 years old. I started playing cs back in 1.5 and quit around 2009 right before college. I started playing CS:GO January of this year but never really thought about taking it seriously. I always knew I had the skill and potential to compete at the highest level but never really pursued it or had the connections to do so. I have attended one CSGO lan, Fragadelphia 2, earlier this year with some awesome teammates (pzmuffin, kwong, adept, maminh) and performed quite well with them, which was an awesome experience. I got many messages from people wondering who I am, if I am a smurf, and how I got here. The truth is I am a nobody, I played my first competitive CS:GO match ever this season, I am learning the game as I go but believe I have the raw aim, skill, and gamesense to be successful at the highest level. Getting onto Area51 was just as random to me as it was to everyone else and to be honest I still don't know how I ended up here - lets just say I got really lucky. I know there are going to be many doubters that don't believe I belong on this team, but I will try my best to prove them wrong and do whatever I can to help my teammates get some wins.
